In April 2011, Laura Muns Crivillé and Isidre Mateo Padilla became the new owners of 'La Galeria' . For the previous seven years, the gallery had been run by Elena Kervinen and Josep Mas Tuset, with a particular emphasis on art from the Nordic countries, especially Finland, which received general acclaim from both critics and artists.
Laura and Isidre now wish to broaden the artistic spectrum of their gallery, avoiding classic definitions or 'isms' and creating a new dialogue between artists and public. Their collaboration with overseas galleries will include a forthcoming group exhibition by Japanese artists from the 'Broken' gallery in Tokyo.
